Two Strong Women

Below is a photo of Morgan Wilkins at the International Young Democrat Union Convention this past weekend in London, getting the chance to meet former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher. Former two-term CRNC Chairman Eric Hoplin, of Minnesota, was also in attendance and was re-elected to his post as Vice-Chairman of the IYDU. Wilkins, you will remember, caused much stir after planning "Catch an Illegal Immigrant" events during her tenure as a CRNC Field Rep in Michigan. Current CRNC Chairman Paul Gourley disavowed knowledge of Wilkins, and summarily fired her, but she landed on her feet at the Leadership Institute, a group who actually tries to stand for something. Wilkins has also been a rumored candidate for Kentucky State CR Chairman this spring. No word on whether Hoplin and Wilkins exchanged any pleasantries while in London, but no one came home with a black eye.
